Cornwall may have a slower pace of life but behind the scenes there are many businesses working extremely hard. Yes, a large part of Cornwall consists of tourism but dig deeper and Cornwall is home to a growing tech sector.
Over the years we have enjoyed working with lots of Cornwall based businesses, launching lots of unique websites alongside branding.
Lets take a look at how we designed and developed a selection of Cornwall websites.
Stacey Mann Estates
Penzance based Stacey Mann Estates previously had a WordPress website which became so big it was difficult to manage and due to it's size became slow to load. We started the project by designing a set of visual in Figma so that Stacey Mann Estates could see how the new website would look on desktop, tablet and mobile. Once the visuals had been approved we built the website in Webflow from the ground up. We wanted to help reduce the load time of the properties page and so built a CMS Collection in Webflow which Stacey Mann Estates can manage by loading text and images directly from RightMove, letting Rightmove serve the images, thus reducing load time on the new site. This also helps with Google and SEO due to the fast load times of the website.
Video was also used on the Home page to showcase properties and to help people looking to relocate to Cornwall, a comprehensive set of location guides has been built. All content on the new Stacey Mann Estates is editable as well as all SEO settings for each page.
The Cornish Wedding Barn
Based 5 minutes from St Just, The Cornish Wedding Barn asked us to design and develop a fresh new website ready for the 2023 season. It soon became clear that not only did they need a new website, a new logo and overall brand was required. After meeting with Alisha who showed us around the barn and wedding venue, we really wanted to convey the sense of the farm in the new branding and website. We produced a set of logo options alongside a range of hand illustrated farm animals and website visuals in Figma for feedback.

EXO 151 Yacht
Falmouth based Liebowitz & Partners have worked with us for a number of years and asked us to design and build a new website for their EXO 151 Yacht. With amazing 3D renders we wanted to go big and bold and use animation to make the site interactive and immersive. Full screen galleries were also used to make maximum use of the beautiful 3D renders.
Why we use Webflow?
Simply put, Webflow is a modern development platform that has been developed as a professional application to satisfy the needs and demands of today's businesses, unlike applications like WordPress which at its cores, is still a blogging platform which requires a theme and many plugins to develop a website, all of which require weekly or monthly plugin updates.
